Installing HDL on a PS2 with a dead drive
Installing HDL on a PS2 with a dead drive –
12-28-2010,02:40 PM
I was given a PS2 with a dead DVD drive and I was hoping I could get HD Loader installed.
A FMCB memory card seems to be the way to go. So far I've order a 120gb hard drive that I found on the compatibility list and got a hold of a network adapter.
I was reading the instructions on the FreeMCboot page for HDL installation and it called for a disc. Is there an alternate installation I can do without the disc? Thanks.

Ok so I may have answered my own question but It looks like I can install it off the memory card. That sound about right? Am I missing anything?

Ok so If I have someone build a FMCB card for me I just need to make sure that they are the same region and do the multi-install rather then normal?
