Installing Free McBoot - question not answered... Action Replay Max
Installing Free McBoot - question not answered... Action Replay Max –

Hello! I've been wondering about one thing. Installing FMCB seems easy, but in order to do that I need Action Replay Max. Do I need ORIGINAL disc of ARM, or can I burn the program on CD/DVD, insert burned disc with a FMCB pendrive and will it work? Because I want to buy PS2 and I don't know if I need original ARM in order to install FMCB... Simply put - will unmodded PS2 read burned ARM disc?

Ok then
Thanks for the answer. So the easiest way now is to buy pre-McBooted MC online.

There are some people doing the same in my country, so I'll give it a shot ^^. Damn, I wish I could get my hands on ARM... Or any other option that I could do with my PC and unmodded PS2 myself.
And yeah, I've read that the model isn't good for FMCB, so I'll search through PS2s carefully ^^

Then you must voluntarily buy something retail (007-AUF, ARM, SM, CB, MC-Adapter...)...

No! When you run the ISO by the USB drives him to eject, it ejects the usb, and it sends the disc again the Ps2, he read the usb again.

if i remember there was a really old school way of installing something like freemcboot using a modified save and a ps1 game you might want to check on the net for a guide for it you might be able to set that up if you have a ps1 game instead of buying a action replay max but you would have to check because it was years ago i did that method

He needs a AR max or GameShark to copy the exploit (PSX-save) to the MC....

Or you are concealed us another method so long???

Ok guys, thanks a lot for answering! I bought PS2 yesterday and I found out that the guy was also modding PS2s with Free McBoot ^^. And I got whole set in one go! ^^ Now that's gonna be a really great comeback to youthful times! ^^
