install ps2 linux to flash drive

hi there. who knows, is that possible to install linux on ps2 to usb flash drive?
i have fat ps2 with matrix infinity chip and 16gb usb flash drive

A long while ago there was a ps2 linux kit that (I could be wrong) came with an external usb hard drive and a keyboard and mouse. Course that was official ps2 linux kit (only sold in japan I think). Something like this I would ask the makers of your ps2 linux distrobution though since they would know more about this than us.
