Tell me what you are using to get an exploit going one your PS2?
I'm using swapmagic 3.6 or 3.8 and ulaunchelf.

Ulaunchelf auto boots from memory card.
I regularly use three different consoles, using different boot methods on each one,
though always with uLaunchELF as the main homebrew menu program.
SCPH-39004 (v7) with DMS4proSE normally booted by DEV1 into uLE
except when I need modchip disabled, instead booting FMCB with autolaunch of uLE
SCPH-77004 (v15) unmodded, always booting FMCB with autolaunch of uLE
SCPH-90004 (v18) unmodded, normally booting uLE as SWAPMAGIC.ELF in MC by SM3coder v3.8
except when booting into the SM3coder cheat menu and then exiting to uLE as SWAPMAGIC.ELF
for homebrew launch of game backups with cheats active.
NB: For compatibility reasons I always let that SWAPMAGIC.ELF uLE relaunch a second instance of uLE stored as "mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF", for full launch path compatibility with the DEV1 and FMCB systems (and to suit standard 'exit' conventions of other homebrews).

----- re: SCPH-77004 (v15)
Never on a v15 console.
That would serve no purpose, except for someone doing it just once, so as to start an FMCB installation.
No. That is exactly what I do.Quote:
If not I am assuming you just flip on the ps2 and it just boots directly into FMCB.
Am I wrong?
That is how FMCB works on any console compatible to it.
(So only with models before bios v2.30)
Other boot methods are only required on the newest models with bios v2.30, though they may also be initially useful to allow FMCB installation start for those with no access to a console already using FMCB. But once FMCB is installed on a console compatible to it, no other boot methods are needed.

thanks for the help. Got it working a night or two ago. Works great. Now I don't need to keep using my swapmagic and wear it out.
