planning on soldering a lot of wires??....i think it's a good idea, just a lot of time if you're doing what i think you're doing...if you think you know what i'm thinking that you're thinking you might think you know that i know what you're thinking....sorry, that was fun, i need to go to bed now...work at 6am

if you can afford to get another system and NA to cover yourself incase you screw something up then I say go for it.

hmm is there no Network chip in the Sony network adaptor??
because you would still need the network interface chip to negotiate the network connections..
well basically i'm just rerouting everything
i don't understand exactly what you are trying to do...
the NA doesn't stick out that much... are you saying you want to eliminate the 'sticking out bit' and put it inside your ps2? and have a little plug hanging out or something? (if you get what i mean :P )
how then will you connect your hard drive?
