Do you have a hdd & network adapter?
Your ps2 is pal or ntsc?
If it's pal you can buy the linux kit(119€) or dvds(25€) here: http://www.linuxplay.com
You might think you want linux on your ps2... but you don't, really. It's a fun thing to try, but that's basically it.
