I want to know if there is a possibility to make the chip (like infinity or duo)
able to make the PS2 "think" that the PS1 controller is a PS2 controller
(like the chip make the PS2 to run all typs of CD/DVD by)
i hope you get general idea.(like the chip will have such feature)
So is it possible to make such thing ?

Not sure what you are asking. The PS2 can read and play PS1 games. It should read and play CD/DVD PS2 games as well. The latest PS1 controller is virtually identical to the PS2 controller except for the color and one minor feature.

Theoretically maybe - but it will be cheaper to go out and buy a ps2 controller.

think he means he wants ps1 controllers to work with games such as burnout ajnd tekken 5 which do not support ps1 controllers
