was modding a ps2, v10(might be a v9, don't remember exactly), got it running all fine, booted everything no problem, but now there's no video output, and it will turn on, but no laser activity, drive spinning, can't eject, and can't turn off, i've got an extra ps2 here i can get parts out of (if they match up, and it's a v4) can anyone suggest some things to check, esp. fuses, etc.? i also have a multimeter.

Check you mod connections and solder splatter (for lack of a better word lol). And, as you said, fuses. This is not my area of expertise though...

okay, checked fuses, i've come to the conclusion it's fuse 4 (PS4) with the markings "63" on the fuse. I have a dead V4 ps2 around, what fuses, if any, could i replace the PS4 fuse with from the V4 ps2?

Also, i couldn't find fuse 10, where is that?

afaik ps10 is on the otherside of the board. ps4 is a 2.5A fuse. the v4 board doesn't have a 2.5A fuse on.
