I have a V7 with Magic V. It used to work fine but now the green led button or the reset button does not work. The blue works when u press it the cd tray opens but the green lights up but it does not blink or anything. I did NOT drop the PS2 or did anything to it.
What is wrong with my PS2. Please reply asap
Thanks

Ok i got my PS2 to boot. The green reset works and when i put in a backup game it would play for like 1-2min and then the PS2 automatically resets.

ask around and you will see magic V is a good chip...i think you are talking about the Magic 3.1
Egyptian Mafia. i think your ps2 is over heating...make sure the fan is working. also make sure your ps2 get's enough cool air

Magic V is decent, not the best solution though/

no doubt best chip is DMS 3 hands down but magic V is way cheaper and reliable if installed right

ok the green reset is solid again. But now it wont blink at all. What to do. Is it a fuse or what. The fan works.
