How to link ps2

I was curious how to link more than 1 ps2 on different tvs without having to use the internet. I had heard you can do it on halo. What parts would a person have to buy.

2 options
1. buy a network adapter £30 and a patch ethernet cable £1
2. buy an I-link cable for $5.45 link
