How do u get around the parental code?

somebody forgot the code on the ps2 parental level!
is there anyway to get around that!
i tried taking the battery out and that didnt help!

this really sucks because its stuck at level 1!
some real pre-school s#@%

When you are asked for the code, push select and enter 7444. This will reset it. By the way, this info is in your ps2 manual.
