If you dont have a modchip, install ESR to execute PS2 dvds...
but... YOU NEED TO PATCH THAT ISO BEFORE BURN A DVD, with ESR PATCHER.

Is no possible to execute a MEMORY CARD file from the usb, you only can carry them to the stick and back to memory using ULE.

You must reburn your games. You can only use DVD´s. You must Patch the "image" of the game with the ESR-Patcher how "Player1" says, before you burn it. And if you have a game in CD-format (till 700MB) then you must make it to a DVD to patch it with ESR (creating dummy-file), cause ESR works only with DVD.

is there any way to save a ps2 game to my usb flash drive or my usb external hard drive and play/launch them from there? Thanks!
Take care, USB-storage must be in FAT32 and the video-sequences of the games sucks, cause the PS2 has only USB1.1.........

If you have installed the new "noobie package" of FMCB, then OPL is integrated. Thats what you need....

If not, here you find it......

and here what you have to do if you want to use USB-storage....

Also if you have a old phat ps2 with hard drive slot in back, you can get HD Loader homebrew and put games on your hard drive.

I second this approach. It would even be worth the cost of buying a PS2 network adapter, if you have a lot of games, not to have to reburn them all. You could just zap them to an IDE HD, and game on. Even easier if you still have all of your ISO on your computer.

As a side note, be sure and keep your current collection of backups if you decide to go the ESR route, this way, if you ever decide later on to go the large HD route, you can rip those backups to a PS2 HD. You cannot easily do this with an ESR modified game disc. I can't remember whether ESR patcher can unpatch an ISO or not.

There are a few other guidelines to adhere to when burning PS2 games.

USE CORRECT MEDIA - The PS2 laser pickup is finicky. For best read results, burn to DVD-R only. Do not use DVD+R at all.
BURN SLOW - Burn your PS2 ISO's @ 4x, but some newer burners won't go that slow. If you have a newer burner, use the slowest speed that it will do (probably 8x).
GOOD QUALITY MEDIA - If you're shopping at a local retail store, I would look for Verbatim or Maxell DVD's. If you're buying online, might as well go with Taiyo Yuden.
