How do I play Anti-Mod PS1 games on a chipped PS2? Games like Breath of Fire 4
you have to have a chip that can bypass the antimod ps1 games like a MI
is that a new MI future? i tried resident evil 1 like a year ago. and it didnt work then.
If your chip trips the anti-mod code, you need to patch the game. The only BOF4 anti-mod patch I've seen is for the Japanese version, though.
If I remember right, the MI only has anti-mod ps1 bypass for V9+
yes i think thats right now that you mentconed it. i got a v6 so that explanes itOriginally Posted by daisukejigen
Opps sorry yes V9-14
Yeah I have a V7, but all my anti-mod PS1 games have been patched anyways, as my PS1 chip didn't bypass the protection. Wonder why they can't get anti-mod games working on V8- consoles.Originally Posted by retro
I burned my Breath of Fire 4 to a CD and it boots fine, I found out that if it is an Anti-Mod game you can use Import Player to disable the Anti-Mod protection

It is Breaker Pro 1.1 but Breaker Pro took Import Player's code and made it bootable on any console for PS1 games like HDA did to HDL. But yeah that program will fix anti mod games but so far I have not had a problem. Also if you get Boot Replay you can also activate codes for you PS1 game that you are booting.![]()
