I found running a program like it off the CD more effective.
Like if your copying Saves, installing things to the HD, taking stuff off the HD to the USB; i used a CD with PS2 menu on it.
But if you really want to give your try ay Uluanch theres a really extensive FAQ on these forums...search for it...

05-14-2006,09:15 AMreplace MANAGER.ELF with any app u like.(renamed to MANAGER.ELF)
that way, if u press and hold triangle, u can start any app of your choice, instead of the matrix memory card manager.
its located in mc0:/MATRIX/MANAGER.ELF
