Yes, it does work, but it is solution for v5/v6 motherboards only. Anyone has the solution for replacing R type with C for v9/v10/v11 motherboards?
I know it is possible by changing some values in PS2 eeprom, ******* does it and they are calling it "eeprom reflashing". There is an original Sony service software that does that and many other adjustments to PS2. Also an interface to communicate with PS2 is needed.
******* stands for D_I_V_I_N_E_O
Guys, i have a v4 and a v7 here, both which I would like to get a sanyo open face fitted into. Problem however is that they are both meant for KHS400c's. The lasers work in the systems, hwoever you need to wait 30 or so seconds for the laser to actually start workoing, it just messes around before that. Any and all information is appreciated. Thanks!
Do you mean the 400C takes 30 seconds to start working or that you swapped in the sanyo and that takes 30 seconds to start?
I have swapped all different lasers in PS2?s for testing purposes and they all seem to work for DVD games but not movies and maybe not CD media either.
takes 30 seconds for the sanyo which i swapped in to start.
