I have an old ps2, version 3 or 4 model. my grill in the front is very dusty and can barely see the hd-activity light anymore. also in the back where the fan is, is getting dusty as well. whats the best way to clean this out without having to open it up.

    try a vacuum cleaner.

iv not tried it but it might work.
be careful though the dust particles can creat a static charge which could fry the ps2's chips.

vacuum cleaner does the work, try setting the speed down on the cleaner if you can do that.. and try putting some small long object through the grill in front of the fan when your going to clean that -- if not, the fan will rotate REALLY fast -- probably not good...

i heard with canned air its not good because all you're doing is blowing the dust into your ps2 more and that would **** it up
