how to burn uLE v4.40 in cd-rw?

i burn the tool uLE v4.40 in CD-RW by using "NeroBurningROM 5.5.10.7" .but when i insert disc into the ps2 its shows "read disc error"
plz help me

Here is your problem. Use CD-R, not CD-RW.

thnks for replying. ok there something i have to do while buring CD-R guide me like at what speed i have to burn and which tool is more easy to burn dics to make bootable in ps2 .b/c i have'nt before

Are you trying to boot from the CD-R? Is your system modded in some way?

If you're trying to run it off a CD, I'm assuming your system is chipped.
If this is the case, just use ImgBurn to make your initial CD, because you really won't need it later. I would load the FMCB noobie pack into a usb stick and install it on one of the memory cards. This will load uLE directly onto your memory card and load it from there instead of wearing out your laser.

As for write speed, half your writer's top is the rule of thumb.

i think he is trying to compile a uLE 4.40 cd image

you need to download cdgenps2 and add 3 files...

SYSTEM.CNF (change lba 12231)
BOOT.ELF (uLE 4.40 renamed)
then generate a dummy file (100mb is good)

and save image and burn

Yeah, I figured that's what he's trying to do. Most people read tutorials about this before asking a forum, so I was assuming he had. Then again, I'd just gotten home from the club and was half drunk and half asleep so not at all there.

and if its hard to make a bootable cd/dvd .there is already some images on uLaunchELF thread and they are ready for Burn ....

Use ImgBurn or Nero(I don't really trust Nero when it comes to PS2,especially that old one you're using)

plz tell me at what speed i burn the disc thnks for ur rply.and if i usw CD-RW it not wokrs??
