Hi all, I want to hook up my PS2 to my PC so I can play on my monitor. So I ordered an RF convertor instead of using RCA cables and then hooking it up to a TV Tuner card on the PC.
Has anyone used this method and does it work? im pretty sure it does..
If not, what other methods have you used to hook it up so you can play on a PC.
If you have used this method, what tv tuner cards are good and NTSC compatible b/c im presently in search for one on ebay.

    Thanks

By using RF you are lowering the quality drasticaly. What you should do is bypass the computer all together and just have the PS2 hooked strait to the monitor. You can buy a converter box to do so. Get one that uses component, and is capable of outputting prograssive scan, so you can use the monitor to its fullest.

necrolop, do you know what that convertor is actually called?

kerop, do you mean something like this?

    click me

By using the above, will I get higher quality resolution as opposed to the RF or is it pretty much the same thing?

    thx

Audio/Video cables will always give you a better picture than RF
