i dont know if this bothers ppl much.. but ive gotten enuf of that shimmering textuers in my games..

its like when i set no mipmaps for PC games, or when i use linear filtering of some sort..

so is it possible to write a homebrew Util to improve texture filtering in ps2 games? (ie. ps2 texture shimmer) perhaps like implementing bilinear filtering...

Flicker filter is game dependant, some games like Tekken 4, Tekken 5, Final Fantasy XII even let you enable or disable it from the options.

Maybe the guys at Xploder who created the HDTV Player could write a tool that could do what you say for every game but I highly doubt some homebrew developer could or would even bother.
