Hi all! What's the scenario of PS2 gaming or video gaming in your country?

So let me start here.

Hi I'm from Manila, Philippines. Well the PS2 is the king here (eventhough, it is not officially released here) second is XBOX and last is Gamecube. Sadly most of the shops here have few or zero legit titles of PS2/Xbox games, most are selling bootleg copies. Of all the PS2 gamers here, I can say that only a few can afford its online play (same case as XBOX Live) because DSL connection is expensive here.

So people out there? What's yours? And I guess, when you say "bootleg" in the US it means that you copy your games right you don't buy them since there's no shops offering this kind of merchandise?

I sold my PlayStation to get my PS2... read my sig :P

I'm in Canada... it gets cold and I'm pretty nerdy (I often list "coffee" as one of my past-times) so I play games, but a lot of people 'round here are hooked. I live in one of the, if not the farthest city eastwards... and it's tiny, so almost no one knows about modding... most people still ask "won't it **** up my console/laser?" :P
