help using elf of swapmagic

I'm pretty new to all this ulaunch, fmcb, and esr, but i'm starting to get the hang of it. So far ESR works great but there are 3 games I can't play using it that I know work with swap magic. As with many people, my sm disks is beat to crap and doesn't like to load much anymore so I tried using the .elf for both swap magic 3.6 and 3.8 and I can't seem to get either to work.

with 3.6 I get the same error I've read that alot of people get, I get the logo for like a second and then it goes to a black screen. Haven't read any solutions for it yet though. with 3.8 seems like it's going to work after I boot up the copy, however it just reboots the system.

Anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

Which games are you talking about?

You don't need those SM-ELFs at all, since you have uLE.
If you really want to swap, simply use 'unofficial LaunchELF'.

Oh and btw. There is no Homebrew-App available for the PS2, which is called 'ulaunch'. Please simply refer to it as 'uLE', since it is shorter; the correct abreviation and ronald|dlanor get's the hang of it (not telling he's getting annoyed by it).

the games i need SM for are All Star Wrestling 3 (esr patcher couldn't patch it), Michigan Report From Hell, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Pro-Am. ESR has a couples issues with them from what I've tried. How do I use uLE to do the swap?

I do not have these games, but what do you think about posting more info (especially about your issues)?

To swap with uLE (I'm not sure, since I do not swap):

-turn 'Disc-Control' on, save settings and restart uLE.
-Insert an original disc with a high TOC and of the same type (PS1, or PS2 and CD or DVD)
-Wait for the inserted disc, beeing stopped...
-Once it stopped, use the swap-trick to exchange your original to a backup
-Either enter the filebrowser and refresh the content of the disc, or simply start 'PS2Disc'.

Game should start...
