Perhaps you should practice your googling skills, to solve such problems yourself.
This time I did it for you, simply browsing to google and entering the words PS2 super-7
That simple search resulted in tons of relevant hits, including the topmost one on the results page, which led to a webpage with the following information about the super-7 modchip.
Code:

- Auto detect functions fully support all versions of SCPH-700XX.

- Support variety of game emulator and Media Player (SFC, SEGA, MP3...)
- Support Action Replay 2 , Action Replay Max and Codebreaker.
- Accompanied with Diode-FIX to protect your Laser Lens of PSTwo.
Current Version Operation mode :
- Play all kinds of PS2 games and DVD movies :
1. Open cover and insert PS2 CD/DVD disc or any region DVD movies.
2. Close cover and press Reset button once to play game or watching movie.
- Play all kinds of PS1 games and DVD movies :
1. Press Reset button, then open cover and insert PS1 CD disc or audio CD.
2. Close cover and press Reset button twice to play game or listen music.
- Sleep mode function ( play original disc or On-line games ) :
1. Holding Reset button from standby until picture display on TV then release.
2. Open cover and insert original PS1/PS2 disc, press Reset button once to play.
This should tell you all that you need to know, even though they did make one obvious mistake (of the copy-paste variety) as they mistakenly state on one line that DVD movies are used like PS1 games, even though the next line makes it clear that it is audio CD discs that need to be started by the same method as PS1 games.
So to start PS1 games, whether backups or originals, you press reset once before opening the disc tray lid to insert the game disc, and then press reset twice after closing the disc lid again (with the disc in position for playing).
