Help! Samsung 930B, sync-on-green signal problems. –

Hello folks,
I am new to this forum since I discovered that PS2 scene forum through google searching. I recently got PS2 linux kit through eBay and tried to install Linux on my PS2 console. I hooked VGA cable to my Samsung SyncMaster 930B LCD monitor from PS2. When I turned monitor and PS2 console, I kept to get a repeating box message every few seconds. It appeared but disappeared quickly. I was able get message. It said "Not optimum mode" and "Recommended mode is 1280x1024 at 60 Hz". I checked monitor manual and it said that check with VGA cable.
According to my manual (specification), my monitor does support sync-on-green signal. It should be work but it did not work on PS2.
I am looking for a new LCD monitor that supports both SoG and HDCP signals. Does anyone know any latest LCD monitor is compatiable with PS2 VGA cable?
Thanks!
Tim
