    I tried to install a magic 3.1 module on a V3, when i turn on the power, the ps2 run but tell me "read the disc" but nothing happens. I thaught i've make a mistake so i remove the module. After that, the ps2 run but tell me "can't read the disc" for any type of disc. I check a lot of thing but the problem persist. Can someone help me to resolve that problem, my ps2 seems to be burn.

    You have mis-installed. Either a ribbon cable is not properly inserted or it is damaged; or there is a solder bridge somewhere.
