help with ps2 moding –
yeah i just prevouisly moded my xbox and i was wondering if i could do the same with my ps2, but is there ne way i could connect a hard drive to the ps2 so i dont have to back up the games, and if i have to backup the games how do i back them up.
yeah you could mod your ps2 with a chip or use the hd loader/hd advance or memory card exploit(free) but its pretty much for backing up games but not all games will work. i'd say get a chip and you can use the memory card exploit which is free. as for which chip you will have to decide what meets your needs but i have to say the matrix infinity is a real good solid chip with almost all features available and firmware upgradable that is easy to use and is awesome for the price. but there are also other chips out there you will have to decide what chip if you decide to chip it that you want.
hard drive –
but could i put a hard drive in the ps2 to save games to instead of the dvd's?
yes only if the are originals otherwise you will have to use winhiip and that requires you to connect your hdd in your pc every time you want to transfer a game from your computer, but like i said before not all games will work off the hdd with hd loader/hd advance
