Help Please :'(( Big Problem

Hi guys..
i have a PlayStaion 2 and am trying to play backups from HDD using
OpenPS2Loader ok.. and i didn't run any elf file before on my PS2 so
am kinda noob

My PS2 is ( ver11--SCPH-50004--PAL--Modchip ) and i downloaded
uLaunch 4.40 CD , burnt it to a DVD and then when i tried to run it on my
modded PS2 it didn't work ..
it reads the DVD but when i run it ,, it goes back to the browser!!
i downloaded SwapMagic3.6 and it also didn't work!
and i think something is wrong i don't know whats the problem here..
i just need to install programs on my Memory Card ,, please help me guys
is there any other way of installing elf on MC ??

Note that i also have some original PS2 NTSC games but it doesnt work too
but backup NTSC games work :S
am really confused please help me

Why not download uLaunch "DVD" and burn it to "DVD"?

what Modchip do you have ?

the problem is that i don't know what Modchip i have ,, how can i identify it ??

and also i downloaded the uLaunch DVD ,, but do i need to change the VMODE to PAL in SYSTEM.CNF file ?? coz its NTSC
or just burn it ??

Just that the uLE-DVD now works, doesn't mean you have a CD/DVD-Independent setup.
It's entirely up to you (with our help), to setup DEV.1, or FMCB if your modchip is compatible to either of those.

i already got FMCB working
but what is dev.1 ?

Dev1 is a feature on some mdochips that support it. it boot any elfs on BOOT folder on mc
