My Ps2 (3003r) Fried my laser the other day & took the BA chip with it, I have replaced the BA & Fuse next to the chip & laser. Now the unit powers up ok ect... BUT it seems that theres no power going to the eject motor & the wormscrew motor that moves the laser. Have tried anyother cd\dvd rom unit on it but with no joy.

Is it a fuse & or is my replacement BA chip Knackered or is there something else??????

I checked the chip for solder spash's & also with a multimeter both ok.
