HELP!!!!! my ps2 ...

in a past thread , i noted that my controller port cable was messed up ... so i got a new one but on the motherboard , the little snap had broke off so i tryed using super glue like an ass and it got on the contacts for the controller port on the motherboard... so now 1st controller dont work no matter what , i tried scraping the contracts so that the cable can lay right but still nother, controller port 2 workds perfect... but not 1 and ive run outta ideas... i really dont wanna replace my motherboard for this stupid ass problem cuz then id have to reinstall my chip and i dont wanna do that, can sumone help me... any ideas would be great... im about to cry

Solder directly to the motherboard. Or get a new connector with the same/similar number of pins (from radioshack or something, so that you could still disconnect the controller ports if you wanted)

yo thinkdiff , thoses points for the controller connector are smallllll , id **** it up if i did it.... how much would u charge me to do it so that the controller ports can still be disconnected?

remember u did my boys yellow ps2 v4.? lol

I'll think about it tomorrow. I'll probably be going to radioshack so i'll see if they have any useable connectors. I'll also take a look at the controller board and see if I can solder the points.

aight man , let me know... even if u can find away to just solder to the mother board , then wire form the board to sum sort of connector just to allow me to disconnect if needed.... id appreciate it..... let me know man and thanks for the input... hopefully i wont have to replace my motherboard and re-chip cuz that would cuck and id probably just thow my ps2 away lol
