Help crazy v12 with blown ps13 –
11-11-2006,04:21 PM
i chiped my mates v12 with a mobo 745 and Subzero (303 resisors)
It worked fine after i had finnished and booted everything then i went out. When i got back it was the same working fine. I then went back to finish it of by sticking some black tape over the chip to reduce chnces of shorting with the metal as i notmaly do but when i reasembled it to just befor you put the black case back on i tested it agen and everytime it came to spin the disk the drive motor would just keep moving and grinding untill I shut it down. I did this agen the second time i tried. on the third test it didnt grind but it didnt spin ither. I put a new laser block in and it did the origonal grinding thing then the next time it stoped but didnt spin. I think some how it broke both the drive motors is this possible. After all this i checked all the fuses and ps13 was dead. Acording to my diagram it is 0.4A where can i get a 0.4A fuse (im in the UK)
Plz can someone help
