You know, you say that this thread is for 640x480 games then list titles that do not run in 640x480 only to note that "they aren't fullscreen?" Isn't that . . . like, a foregone conclusion? How can 512x480 be fullscreen if the screen is 640x480?

Anyway, I tested an assload of games that work. Pretty much every one that does work but "not fullscreen/512 lines" can easily be stretched to the right 4:3 ratio on a 16:9 screen, a 4:3 TV or a 4:3 VGA monitor would have a harder time with it. So I really wonder why so many people want to use VGA with this at all when the better solution seems to be elsewhere. To each his own I guess.

One of those, yes. Reread the thread before you ask.

DO I have to have PS2 HDTV cables or S-Video cables? When I load mine up it loads fine but when I try to change HD mode or VGA mode my TV thinks theres no input. I am using a Samsung 23" HDTV

You need component cables, as in a cable with five plugs (green, blue, red, white, and red).

No. So far, it only works with pressed discs, or copies if you have certain modchips. HDLoader will not run games, though some have supposedly gotten to the game selection menu.

No idea. Check the other thread. Some people mentioned success with a modchip, others failure.

There are two versions of the HDTV player. There is the normal method by running your own disc or backing up the ELF but as many people have mentioned it has trouble running backups. People without modchips are able to run it with swap magic. Depending on your modchip people have various results.

There is also the patched version. Unfortunately, there is no patch file available (as far as I know). You'll need to find the files. It runs backups.
