I seriously hope this doesn't end with all the bitching from the previous posts. This is really awesome. I really need to get back the space FMCB is taking from my memory card. If this will eventually allow FMCB to run/launch from the HDD then I wish the devs all the best.

It wouldn't be called FMCB if it was launched from the HDD right? Haha!

But I need help. I cannot commit resources into making FHDB lol...
Plus I don't have permission from Jimmikaelkael to touch the FMCB v1.8b sources.

Can't you guys at least make a KELF of the ATAD patched HDD-OSD that can run on a non-Sony HDD and unmodded PS2? Check the link below. This way I can launch homebrew from within the HDD-OSD using some of the tutorials found in this site. You can PM it to me and I won't tell anyone. =) Thanks.

following (Bah Link limit) the guide on Assembly gamers when ya google it. it says to burn to CD the hackchips BB-Navigator disc. the HDUTILI elf seems to be the same from the Official util disc :/

i gotta ask and feel stupid. the need to do the disc swap part to run the HDUTILI isnt need if i allready have the Sony Utility disc do i ? (since i have the Sony HDD kit that came w/ FFXI PS2)

my tutorials at assemblergames are only usefull if you want to run hdd-osd on non US/JP consoles, and bb-navigator on non JP consoles. you still need the sony hdd, for my tutorials, but there is a "atad" patched mbr "somewhere" for the hdd-osd i believe, as bb-navigator uses a different mbr.
