I have the SCPH-30000 model (Japanese PS2) that I brought state-side couple years ago.

I also brought back the network adapter on my last trip together with the PS BB Navigator v0.31 CD.

The green LED on the network adapter stays green but the PS2 complains that it can not find the network adapter.

For giggles I borrowed the US PS2 network adaptor & the same thing. Come to think of it US PS2 adptor might not be compatible with the Japanese PS2 since it has RJ-11 & RJ-45 (Japanese version has only the RJ-45 jack).

Any ideas how I might go fix it? Of course I'm assuming that the network adaptor I brought back on the last trip is not bad
