I have managed to screw up a v9 console. Having problems with it not booting/black screen.

Was doing a matrix infinity install (Blue dot) when i deceided to remove it all and check that i had not fried the console.

When i was removing the g point on the under side the track has lifted. I cannot see where it goes on the other side of the board as there is a big chip in the way.

Any one got any ideas/pointers. Or do i have to phone sony and get a new motherboard..?

    Thanks

    Cheers

the diagrams for the v9 shows the alternate points for b,g,i,& a, using the chip legs, just use a craft knife inbetween the legs and push some blue tac up against the blade so it covers the other legs, put blade on other side of leg & put more blue tac again, remove blade & the leg u need to solder to is isolated from the rest.

check the via with a continuity tester with the chip leg, cant remember whether the track makes contact with the leg thru that particular via or other end of track, if u have continuity from that via to the leg on the chip then you wont have any probs, just tape over the lifted track to isolate it from shortin out.
