GT4 Steering Wheels.

Guys, is there a GT4 Steering wheel in the making ?
I'm thinking of getting the Logitech Driving Force, and it has that $20 rebates. Ending July 31,2003. So I'm contemplating myself, if I should go for it or wait for the GT4 Steering Wheels (if it's next in line to the Logitech Products).

I've read that there is in fact another wheel coming out the same time GT4 hits the streets. It's supposed to be an updated version of the driving force so exactly how much better we won't know till it's out.

The driving force is supposedly the best wheel out there for the PS2 except there is one major bug in playing most games with it especially GT3 being that you can't change gears when turning unless you turn off force feedback which can be a real pain in the ass as you can imagine.

I've used the mad catz universal one and although some people say it's great I thought it was pretty close to junk since the calibration wouldn't work right and the wheel seemed to always have a "lag" where you would turn and the car wouldn't turn until about a second later when it was too late and you find yourself always trying to correct for over/under steer cause of the problem so I'm returning it.

BTW, seeing how you're in TO Best Buy has them on sale this week for only $40 after rebates. I don't know if it's for all Best Buys in Canada though.

There is no set date yet. 2004 is all that is known.

I thought GT3 was WAY overhyped. I mean, it was an alright racing game, but I didn't see anything spectacular about it (Gameplay or Visually). I personally think NFS series is 10x better.

GT3 and the NFS series are totally different types of games. I guess it really depends on whether you want an arcade or more of a realistic experience.

I think casual players would get bored of GT3 pretty easily but that's cause GT3 is a simulator hence the tag line "the real driving simulator". Wether one game is better than the other is all preference but if you're looking for a simulation then GT3 kills all other driving games, if you're looking for an arcade game then GT3 isn't really the place to be looking but the arcade mode is a good substitute.

Personally though, GT3 is the best driving game ever made with the most realistic physics and best graphics. Only thing that can come close would probably have to be GT4!

I think the bamboo shot with the WRX is the shit. The grand canyon ones are kick ass too.. hell I don't think there's one bad screenshot of the game
