yes there is and it revolves around Xenosaga *very important*
ok what you do is load up your gameshark. eject the gameshark (normally) and put in Xenosaga. then, go to new codes and create a new file, just keep on pressing done and make sure when everything is all ready, press start and 'New Game' should be selected as codes. now go into 'With Codes' screen and press X. it should come up a screen saying 'Updating Codes please wait' here is where you perform a swap trick (knife/cog/no solder) you have only a few seconds so be fast.
this method is guaranteed to load every dvd-r backup/import original out there and depending on xenosaga's size you can load dvd-9's as well.
btw cd originals load the same way as booting cd-r.
