About LinkBacksNeed Help, have a 30001 Model V4, that reads the Game Shark V2.0 CD no problem, found an old 50001 Model with an DRE and sent it to Sony and they replaced it with an new laser, the Gameshark CD does not read on this unit that Sony sent back to me??? It gives me the old Please Insert A Playstation 2 Game!! Do 50001 models have a problem with Gameshark????

Gameshark Problem –

Both w 40 Gb Hard and HD Loader
P4 2.8 Ghz 512 Mb DDR2 and ATI X300 128 Mb
Xbox Soft Modded, PSP 1.50 FW running Kxploit, Fastloader

09-02-2005,08:01 PMI don't think that that particular model has a problem with game shark. I have a v4 myself and gameshark 2.0. One day it just stopped working with the same problem you are having. I have no idea why. I tried the disk in my friend's v7 and it worked fine. I've since put a new laser in my v4, however that disk still won't work. I had to get a v3.0 gameshark and I haven't had a problem since. Wish I could help you more, but I've never found a fix for it aside from buying a new disk.
