i went to gamefly.com to do the free 14 day trial but popped up saying i got the Bestbuy 30 day free trial. I enter my info but goes back to the same page like its not accepting my info. it also has some email address in it too.

Hmm, I currently use Gamefly, but I've never heard of a BestBuy 30 day free trial. What exactly is that? BestBuy doesn't even rent games, so I don't understand how you could get a 30 day free trial. Then again, I haven't seen a popup in a couple of years, so if it was an unsolicited popup, I won't see it (the joys of Mozilla/Firefox).
And yes, my login info worked just fine on Gamefly.

*Edit* Are you sure that the popup came from Gamefly? Maybe you got some spyware or a phising scam that got your info. I remember a while back there was a really good BestBuy phising email sent around - looked very professional and a lot of people fell for it.
A bit more info on phising, although I don't know if it's been extended to popups.

yeah now its not working. It first would pop up as a normal trial screen then after entering my info it would go to a new screen and say i have been selected for a gamefly/bestbuy 30 day trial. anyway its gone now. that would be nice though

I see now, wish I could have received the free 90 days, how nice. 30 days is not that bad also considering it is 3 times the normal free time.

well i login to my acct and it pops up saying my account is cancelled. what the hell is that all about? If i want to know why then i need to call the 800 number. hell with them. i'll rent from someone else.

blockbuster has the gamers pass where you can rent up to two games per visit for $27 a month.

Watch out for Blockbuster. I had a game pass, and canceled it, but they have been charging me for the past two months. I finally had to have the CC number canceled and reissued. Now I have to battle with Blockbuster to get my cash back.
