    Hello all,
I'm a long time gamer...I was searching for game cheats and ran across "Shared Game Files" that you D/L via internet D/L to USB then to PS2....Question is (sorry for asking, if I am posting in wrong area) I just D/L'ed a PS2 Saved Game file (PSV) to my computer (my HD is NTFS)...Move/Copy to a USB (FAT) device...I see there are couple programs needed to transfer said file(s) which be best to use? Also how easy is it to get Game File onto a Memory Card?

Again I apologize if I posted in wrong area.

Thanks for ANY HELP anybody can give me,

    Gamekeeper

First, You should change container format. Non of PS2 homebrew apps handle *.psv. For PSX saves it's easy, and can be done in hex editor just cutting a header and You will be have a raw save ready to transfer to root of You PSXMC. For PS2 saves much handy is using app designed for this (sorry, but i forgot name, look on ps2savetools.com or sksapps) and save as *.psu.

On PS2 run uLE and from context menu, choose "Copy", go to mc, and choose "PSU Paste" option.

Your mass:/ device (i.e pendrive) must be formatted as FAT32 on MBR (GPT and others are not supported).

Thanks Berion....but whats MBR? At SKS site it says....A Playstation 2 with a Modchip, Swapmagic, HDLoader/HDAdvance v1/2/3.0(original discs), ActionReplay/Gameshark (original discs), or a priorly installed Exploit! I thought the Noobie Package had everything needed to get the PS2 to see the USB stick....Do I need a disc?

MBR and GPT are sectors / partition, boot, depending on the size of the disk, typically disk up to 2TB (MBR) and up to 18EB (GPT).

do not worry about it, just take your memory stick formatted in FAT32.

if you have the Noobie Package on your PS2 is enough, and you do not need a disc.

has many methods and programs that can be used depends on the type of save.
this is quite easy to PSV:
download the file below, run it, then go to file, PSV file open.
and look to your PSV downloaded from the internet.
then Extract All Files, do not change the folder name is automatically generated

put generated by the program folder on your thumb and uLaunchELF go to mass: / directory of the game, R1 copy, go to mc0: / R1 paste
    ready
    Attached Files

If game checking Time Stamp, it will not work. Game will say, the save file is corrupted or similiar. This is the reason why EP & Dlanor, a long time ago (and before PSU container implementaion) make a special option: "MC Paste", which during copy save procces from mc, add file with folder/files attributes/dates inside.

I agree that this option is safer, but use of that form (which is simpler) and never failed.
especially with ULE 4.42a which is the most use.
