Game Image Extraction –
Please pardon the newbie if this has been bought up elsewhere, but I'm not sure where to look.
Basically, I'd like to find out if one could extract images from a game, War of the Monsters to be specific.
I put the game into my D drive for the heck of it, and saw a bunch of files named after creatures, levels, etc.
Not being technically proficient, I'm uncertain as to what they are. Much less how to open them.
I'm not looking to get the cinematics, copy the game, or get screen captures of in game play.
What interests me more are the level shots from the menu screens, the "movie" posters shown on the load screen, the different skins for each creature, and even just a shot or two for each boss.
I've tried the actual game site, (yeah, it's still up!), but there's not to much there, I've tried every possible google image search, and saw a lot of the same in game shots, and I've tried emailing incog, but that email got returned. Their new company Eat Sleep Play has no way to contact them.
I've asked this question elsewhere, and someone recommended you folks.
Thanks, and Hello!
I would say, make not of the file type of files you suspect are images or videos then search that file type on google.
e.g If the file is named "Movie.bik" then search for google on "biK FILE EXTENSION". there are plentiful sites about file exts.
If you dont see the filetypes but only file name then,
Open My Computer then goto Tools/Folder Options/View and UNTICK
Hide extensions for known file types
