Full Widescreen ?

I have a 52" RCA hdtv and with ps2 hooked up through standard or HD cables i get 1/2 inch black bars on both sides

. Is there any way to get rid of the black bars on both sides of the screen (hex edit maybe)? Any help would be appreciated

go to your PS2 browser and go into settings by pressing 'O'... now search there for the aspect ratio(i.e. 4:3)... when you find it, change it to 4:3 and you're good to go... it works on my HDTV..

I usually put Full. It could also be a setting on your TV.

i set to 16:9 for my sony bravia 32" lcd tv and everything is just cool
