FTP and ToxicOS –
04-24-2006,11:57 AM
I want to ftp to the PS2 to load files. the drive can be unreliable. I also don't want to have to swap the drive in and out of my CPU everytime I want to copy somthing. I may have to but I was wondering about FTP. Please keep in mind that I haven?t installed anything yet. Can I FTP with a DMS4 Pro and using the toxicOS _41. I read in the docs that the ftp server in not implemented in the current release but on the apps tab screen shot it shows execFTPS. My question has to do with using a large HD (storage 128GB+) and the APAEXT file system. If I ftp files, will the files be placed at the end of the drive in the same way that the toxic os saves them? I.E will it start in the section of the drive that is above the first 128gb leaving room for hombew apps that aren't 48bit? Can I ftp to the drive and have toxicOS move the files? Hope team toxic doesn't mind if I post an exert from the v41 manual:
?The second part of the HDD *should* only be accessed by ToxicOS or software which can recognize the format of the second part (at the time of writing, ToxicOS is the only application which can do this).?
Last thing- ToxicOS DMS Pro only || ToxicBios both pro and lite?
