    Hello everyone,

I'm new in this area (exploring software and hardware for playstation) and I would like some help please, if possible...

I recently aquired a Free McBook v1.8, I read some of the tutorials on how to install the softwares, etc. But my aquired memory card had already installed the following softwares:

    - ERS
    - USB Advance
    - uLaunchELF
    - Simple Media System
    - HD Loader
    - Open USB PS2 Loader

and I installed one that was missing (for what I understood)

    - PSX Lancher

Is this a good thing? having all this files in memory card?

How in the world I can play my backup files without showing that information on PS2: "Insert a disc for PS or PS2" ?

I really am sorry for this reapeted question, but unfortunatly I wasnt abble to understand very well the tutorials

    Regards.

PS2-DVD-Games can be simply dumped to ISOs and patched with an ESR-Patch-Tool.

Btw.: If you want to install a prepared package (which you can modify relative easily), you can look for the updated FMCB-Nooby-Installpackage here in this subforum, or @ Free McBoot Home

    1. This isn't a patching-util at all, but the ESR-Application which let those ESR-Patched&burned discs run on a PS2.

    2. The newest Version is r9b and allready included in the Nooby-Installpackage.
