    1. run spell check. I really really hate cell texting on the forums. it's annoying and really irratating.
    2. read the tutorials @ http://freemcboot.info/

Copying does not work, as the executables are signed specific to each card, so a simple copy will not boot on another card than what it was installed for. But a full reinstall onto your card after booting with his card should work fine. That is the normal way of doing it.

You will find more details (enough to drown in ) inside the FMCB subforum found inside the Homebrew/Dev forum here at psx-scene. So you are on the right site, but just in the wrong subforum.

    Best regards: dlanor

Each MC has its own unique ID. I have 6 MCs all exactly the same Sony 8MB and each needed to have FMCB installed to them by the installer. Having FMCB already installed on one MC makes it super easy to run the FMCB Installer and install it onto another MC in the other MC slot from the same PS2.
    PS2 Consoles:
    SCPH-30001 [V4] - unmodded (2)
    SCPH-30001-R [V5] DMS4 Pro SE
    SCPH-50001-N [V9] CC 2.0 SLE
    SCPH-79001 [V16] Silver - unmodded
