forced power on –
hey i got a v4 ps2, model # SCPH 30001 R NTSC, wont power on.
i changed the power/eject ribbon but still will not power on. I do not need eject. Is there someplace on the MB where i can force it to power on.
visually yes, no swollen capacitors or burn marks, but not with my multimeter,
i think its somthing on the MB
This happened to me just last night after i went to rent some DVD's and a quick car ride. The PS2 (V9 Network bundled with ATV) had been working fine untill i pluged it in and hit power. The red light stays on and everything is connected then i hit power or open tray and it goes green for like one second. When i first opened it the battery on the MB was out so i put it back in and it didnt change. I then took it out and went and bought a new 3v 2030 which is what was in there before and still no change. What do i have to do to fix it. Please I just got my backup of GT4 and GoW on my HDD and now i cant even play them by disc. I will search more but this was as close to my problem as i could find. Should I start a New thread so people will notice me?!!!
its your ps1 fuse...replace it.
