flip top problem

I just installed the fliptop and it wont read games anymore. Did I permenantly screw it up? I know it recognizes the DVD drive because when I open and then close the drive, it says reading disc... but it never finds anything.

you may have accidently moved your laser...what do you see when you put in a dvd game...?

I saw nothing. It just says No data when I turn it on.. then when I put in the disc it says reading disc but it never loads.

why would the laser be dead? It worked earlier before i installed this. What would make the laser be dead?

Did you have to pop the white magnet out of the drive lid and put it in the flip lid or do they come with their own? Can you tell if it?s spinning properly? Try running with the lid up and drop the white magnet directly on top of a CD and see if it reads.
