flicker filter on/off

Hi guys
Is there a program(patcher) to deactivate/activate the flicker settings in games(like you can in some games, tekken4,5,ff12)
I like the cristal clear look of games when flicker filter is set to no(early ps2 games)
On the xbox there is flickerfuc*er, maybe there is one for ps2?

if anybody knows some tutorials about hacking the games elf's let me know, i will gladly look into elf to check out this option, i would start i think with games that let you change the flicker filter setting to see what is changed once it's set to off(the filter option)
