    Hi everybody,

my brothers having problems with his ps2slimline pal. its fitted with a matrix chip.
in the config menu he sets the video as color (auto choice) but when he playes fight night round 2 the picture on the tv, keeps changing from colour to black and white then back again, he can make the game work by using the ntsc setting in the config menu, bet has to keep changing it back when playing pal games.
Has anyone else come across this problem? or know a reason why?

    Cheers

    Sask

Does he have an scart port. That usually fixes the problem. It depends how new his tv. But most new 14" and up pal tvs have it. You can buy a scart cable at mrmodchips or a local shop. I hope this help.

he uses the cable that comes with the ps2 , red white yellow plus scart box. i even tried my s-video cable from my ps2 going into a scart box but that still had the same problems, his tv is 32" and about 3 months old.

    thanks for your reply
