    I have been going through some posts on this forum and came across with some modchips having splinter cell problem.

    Can anyone of you guys PROPERLY explain what happens when booting the game or where the problem lies and has it been solved as yet. Will that happen in a v9. Which modchip is good against that problem on a v9.

    From what I know that when playing splinter cell on a premod, it plays fine and at a certain point in the game when it asks to save the game on a memory card and we choose to save the game on a memory card, after saving the game, it goes straight to RSOD.

    Is there a modchip out there for a v9 to stop the game from going to RSOD every time we save a game. I mean to say just continue the game WITHOUT rebooting or WITHOUT going to RSOD and just continue playing the game.

    Please tell me EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS (STEPWISE)....

    At save points is when on v7 and higher systems it does the double protection check on Splinter Cell. All new mods get by this problem.

    I was having this problem on a v9 premod. I was not sure which chip was in it coz the guy from whom I bought it from wasn't sure himself as he was only the importer.

    Anyways, I think it was Mars II chip. Needed double tap for psx games.. I returend that premod to him and he will be arranging a magic V 50k premod for me tomorrow.
