Okay this is my problem, i took my PS2 apart for the first time to see whats inside it, and when i put it back together the CD tray wouldnt eject and it makes some weird noise, well i investigated and this is what happens, whenever i press eject, the laser moves forward towards the center, and on the right the little plastic tab moves down the screw looking thing, and it tries to move farther down but it cant, and the little plastic tab rubs against the screw looking thing and makes a noise, anyone have any solutions ?

I don't quite understand but.... Have you tried putting they white plastic tab (laser elevation arm) on the track of the Disc Tray? It should open and close freely as if you had used the swap-trick method! close the tray turn on PS2 and it should auto align it self and fix the problem! It might still sound like it is scratching something for a couple of days, but it should go away!
