    I got some solder on the CDVD controller chip and it just wont seem to come off... its pretty stuck in there.. i was wondering if anyone had a easy way to desolder it.. i used braid but i guess there just isnt enough solder in there or something...

    Use plenty of flux, heat the solder up then dab the brade on it, that will get it off. You could always add a little more solder to it 2, flux it then remove it.
